And like you said, you remember the good times of when you enjoyed yourself. It probably has to do with Moon-Saturn aspects as well. (not sure you have that, but with Saturn in the 1st House, it can also manifest this way, I believe). So I wouldn't say the first thing is normal, but I also won't go as far to say that it's particularly very abnormal. And the second thing is pretty normal (not very, but mostly normal, in my opinion) because people like to be in the situation that the other person is in because they are having fun, so they are a bit envious of the other person who's having fun. Some are worse than others with this (more on the abnormal side), while some feel happy for the other person... but for the most part, the person that isn't having fun and watching is at least a bit saddened that it isn't them enjoying themselves in their spot (normal).IndigoDiraeThis happens a lot to those on the psychopathic spectrum. Pop culture has made us all out to be monsters and maniacs, but the truth is much more grey.Do you empathise with others, Mia? There's a difference between cognitive and affective empathy. 'True' empathy, as we know it to be, is affective. Cognitive is the analytical kind which is decided upon rather than organic in nature.MiaPluto quote:Originally posted by IndigoDirae:This happens a lot to those on the psychopathic spectrum. That could be a source: so when you are placed in a tense/stressful situation, the burden of your Moon/Saturn is relieved and the naturally Venusian nature of your moon can clearly express itself- hence the jokes, the pleasantry, etc. However, when that's not the case, or when you are placed in a 'normal' situation, the Moon/Saturn highlights itself.
For example, this morning we were trying to find files that were really important and they were missing. So my friend got into panic but I felt really happy and I was giggling.
When it's tense and stressful situations like that, I become happy and carefree.
I said "At least we're still alive" and I was doing the macarena in celebration.
But when everyone is happy, and I'm at a party or something and see people enjoying themselves, I feel really depressed.
I become serious and sad. I become nostalgic remembering my own good times from the past and I don't trust people anymore.
When it is a serious situation and everyone is serious and quiet, I become the joker.
I start giggling and laughing, I can't help myself. I do stupid stuff.
But when everyone is immature and happy, I feel uncomfortable and fearful. I don't mix with them. I feel vulnerable.
Is that normal?
Can anyone relate?
I think I am a gargoyle.
